A very fine carved stone head originally a stop or label to a medieval window in Kilconieran parish church lies within the old graveyard. It may have had a partner as often a pair of heads flank the main east window. The face is rather flat in execution with the nose cut into the face as a simple triangle. This is one of  a number of carved heads recorded in the graveyards of Clonfert Diocese.
