This short video shows a group of volunteers in Derryoober, Woodford constructing a booley hut. A series of huts sites associated with booleying were discovered by the Community Archaeologist during fieldwork in the region. This short video provides a clue to how those huts may have been constructed. The clachan or farm village of Derryoober Upper is discussed in conjunction with rundale farming and the movement of livestock to the upland commonage in summer.
