Carrownseer graveyard near Dunmore Co. Galway is an interesting and practically unnoticed graveyard in a field on the side of the road. It contains a number of interesting features including an uninscribed cross inscribed slab of likely Early Christian date. The site contains the footings of a medieval church, a bullaun stone, a simple tau cross and this grave-slab. The grave-markers consist of rows of crude stones marking a children’s burial ground.
