Derryhivney Windmill

This ruined drum of a windmill survives in the townland of Derryhivney near Portumna. It is known locally as Newtown Windmill from the adjacent townland. It comprises of a simple drum-like structure with opposite doorways. It is recorded on the 25″ OS maps as Windmill (in ruins).
