Do you want to learn more about your archaeological heritage? Would you like to explore new techniques in promoting and creating awareness?
Galway Community Archaeology Project and Comharchumann Forbartha Árann Teo Present an Introduction to 3D Photogrammetry.
We shall introduce you to photogrammetry and other techniques in promoting our archaeological heritage. We shall explore Mainistir Chiaran with Sinead Ni Ghabhlain, visiting Archaeologist who worked on excavations at this ecclesiastical site and outline how the community can assist in recording features.

FREE EVENT is association with Heritage Week 2022. Learn about your local archaeological sites and how you can assist in their preservation and promotion. Includes visit to local sites (weather permitting) with demonstrations on using 3D photogrammetry. Supported by Galway County Council and The Heritage Council.
