Fairy Fossil
A unique fossil was recovered during the monitoring of excavations associated with essential services close to a ringfort in East Galway. The archaeologist stated that this is a very unique find for the county. Forts have long been associated with the faries, but this is the first time, to her knowledge that evidence has been uncovered.
