Loughrea Castle Competition

What do you think Loughrea Castle may have looked like? Was it located close to the lake, with windows overlooking the crannógs and beautiful sunrises? We know the moat circled the Anglo Norman town (and still does), and we know where the gates were (Watch A Medieval Tour of Loughrea here!). Did it resemble Athenry Castle? The original castle may have been wooden. Was a stone structure ever finished?. Were there three or four storeys? Was it decorated with gargoyles? You decide.
