Moylough drum mill

This windmill lies within view of Moylough Anglo-Norman hall house and has been argued locally as being medieval in date. It is later – of eighteenth- or nineteenth-century date, but has some stones incorporated into it that bear diagonal tooling suggesting perhaps that there was something earlier on the site. It sits on a circular platform and may have been the site of a medieval post mill.
